The Vision - at some point during the creative process, the painting takes over and chooses what happens next and when it is finished.

I had a vision for this piece, and then I arrived at as cross roads when it strayed from the original plan.
Instead of thinking what it was suppose to be, I chose to quiet my mind and surrender to this inner guide that lead the way.
As the initial plan fell away, a new space was created in which each mark could live in the moment. The painting began to effortlessly flow with a perfect momentum, as if we were both lost in it together. It has exceeded the original plan.
