‘The Guide’ was created from an ink painting. I wanted this piece to embody a sense of calmness, balance and symmetry. The reflective nature of the faces and the waterlilies create an almost kaleidoscope effect whereby the patterns created from the subject harmonise in a wash of soft blues and pinks. This resin coated piece has a glassy smooth finish.
